Welcome to the kindergarten webpage! We are so glad you stopped by! My name is Teresa Howell and it has been my privilege to be the kindergarten teacher at St. Al's since 2005.
My husband Jonathan and I are both from McComb and moved back here in '04 from Starkville, MS (Go State!!). While at Mississippi State, I was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi National Honor Society and graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in elementary education (emphasis in reading and social studies).
Since returning to McComb, Jonathan and I have enjoyed working with the youth group, as well as teaching 1st grade Sunday School at New Heights Baptist. I also love to play bunco and scrapbook. When at home, I enjoy spending time with my new Dachshund, Sam Howell.
Our class is so very blessed to have with us my lovely assistant and dear friend, Windy Chauvin. This will be our third year teaching together. She and husband Todd are expecting their first child in February.
Welcoming the new baby is Benny, Windy's spoiled-rotten Bassett Hound. They pray he will adjust well!
