LIBRARY Information
    Welcome to the Library Page!  I am Sandra Felder and it is my pleasure to be St. Al's School Librarian and After School Director/Tutor this year.  For the past 9 years, I was the 5th grade teacher.  It has been such a gift to be a part of this school and to have a small part in the lives of so many wonderful students.
    I have been  married to Andra Felder for 33 years.  We have three wonderful children, Jeremy-27, Kerry-22, and Nicole-19, one great daughter-in-law, Lauren, and 4 family pets:Gwedo, Gage, Rossi, and Paris.  There is nothing in life that gives me more joy than to spend time with my family!
    I was a stay at home Mom when my children were young so I did not receive my teaching degree until 1994.  I was an Honor Graduate from the University of Southern Miss. (Go Eagles)  Since then I have taught at Bogue Chitto Schools and St. Alphonsus.  The summer of 2006, I received an additional endorsement for Library/Media Specialist
    Since I began my teaching career, I have lead a Library Club, assisted with Chorale and numerous programs, been Co-Leader of the Student Council,  Red Ribbon Week Chairman, and Swat Director.
    I have had two Assistants this year.  For the first semester, Ms Stephanie Place contributed greatly to the setup and running of the library.  She worked well with the students in developing their computer skills. Upon her leave in December, Nicole Felder began assisting me on Mondays and Fridays with day to day activities and working with students in the computer lab. Nicole is such a great help and joy to have around.
